Mike Carey is a board certified Family Practice Physician and Geriatric Medicine specialist practicing in the unique health needs of the elderly, including chronic diseases, nutritional problems, skin ailments, and cognitive loss, and memory impairment, adverse effects of medications, immobility and balance issues. After actively serving our country as a Capitan in the United States Air Force, Dr. Carey obtained his Degree from the University Of Saskatchewan College Of Medicine, with honors and completed and his residency at the University of Saskatchewan Plains Health Centre. In addition to his Private Practice in Windsor Colorado, Dr. Carey has served as Medical Director at High Plains Healthcare Alliance; Northcare; Integrated Practice Resources, Chairman, Department of Family Medicine, North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley and at Accentcare Hospice, in Windsor. Dr. Carey is Married (Susan) and has four adult children.
PATRICIA LIPINSKI, FNP-BC
Patricia "Tricia" Lipinski is board certified in Family Practice. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Master of Science in Nursing Education. Her research at UNC investigated the concept of Hope, which inspired her to co-found St. Luke's as a place of love, hope and healing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1976 from Marquette University. Her nursing experience has been extensive over the last 40 years, including care of the medical, surgical, trauma and burn patient. She is married with three children and three grandchildren. Tricia's interests include hiking, gardening and quilting.
Carl E. White, FNP-C
Carl White, FNP-C, joined St. Luke’s in 2020. Carl began his nursing career earning his Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. Carl has worked with Banner Health, North Colorado Medical Center serving as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Care Unit and in the Oncology / Telemetry Unit. Carl earned his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree with honors from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Carl’s FNP-C clinical experience includes, Women’s Health at Bella Natural Women’s Clinic in Denver; Pediatrics at Sunrise Kid’s Care Clinic in Greeley and Family Medicine at Conifer Medical Center in Conifer. Carl has a beautiful wife and two kids. His main interests include hiking, biking, climbing, spending time with his family and working to deepen his faith.
MICHELLE TOLLEFSON, MD
Michelle Tollefson is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, but currently focuses on office gynecology and women's wellness at St. Luke's. She graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She obtained her Medical Degree at Creighton University's School of Medicine.Her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency was completed at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She also has a certification in Wellness Coaching. Dr. Tollefson is passionate about women's healthcare, Natural Family Planning and Lifestyle Medicine. She is married and has three children and a Portugese Water Dog. Her interests include teaching, camping and most of all, spending time with her family.
