Dr. Weixelman is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, and wilderness medicine. A Fort Collins native, she spent much of her youth working in the Red Feather Lakes area, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and serving her community.

Before becoming a physician, Dr. Weixelman worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and a registered nurse. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She also completed a Fellowship in Wilderness Medicine.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Weixelman serves as a Flight Surgeon in the Wyoming Air National Guard and has deployed multiple times throughout her military career. She is passionate about caring for patients in a variety of settings and brings broad experience from family, urgent, and emergency medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Weixelman enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors. She is an active member of Larimer County Search and Rescue and volunteers as a firefighter with the Red Feather Lakes Volunteer Fire Department.
